Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin has been an activist for mental health and comedy advocate, writer and director of YouTube since 2015. Her former post with BuzzFeed Video was that of writer. However, in 2015 she left to join fellow writer Gabe Dunn on their Just Between Us comedy YouTube channel. Raskin was born June 20th, 1989 in Manhattan, New York, to a Jewish parentage. She went to in the University of Southern California and obtained a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in. Jamin Ben Raskin (born on December 13, 1962) is a prominent American attorney law professor as well as a politician, serving as representative for the U.S. representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district since 2017. The law professor was the main prosecutor for the impeachment trial of President Trump. Rep. Jamie Raskin decided not to run for Maryland's vacant Senate seat and will instead run for reelection to the House, where he hopes to become chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac, as well as many other wealthiest suburban areas of Washington, D.C., are in the 8th district.
